Israeli Killer Drone To Monitor Ladakh & Why China Afraid Of It

indian security services are working hard to acquire such weapons which will aid them in their continuing war with china a number of aircraft drones have been purchased and smaller drones are being acquired from the us and will be deployed to soldiers at the battalion level handheld drones will be used to gather information about a certain location or region as well as to monitor that location simultaneously the indian navy has leased two predator drones from an american firm general atomics for monitoring in the indian ocean now the indian military are about to acquire four heron mark ii drones from israel which would allow him to keep a close eye on chinese actions in the ladakh region and other places along the line of actual control with china the deal was reached in mid-january between new delhi and israel aerospace industries however the arrival of the uavs was delayed due to the continuing covid19 pandemic according to times of india the first two unmanned aerial vehicles woul

Full Detail about indegenous Astra Missile

Asrta Missile

A day after Bala courts strike Pakistan sent a package of 24 fighter jets in retaliation to India strike the best fighter jet in this package was American-made f-16 fighter jet these fighter jets were equipped with state-of-the-art American air-to-air missile Amram aim-120 see as to the claims Pakistani fighter jet fired around 5 to 6 Amram on Indian Sukhoi 30 MKi fighter jet however this fighter jet dodged these missiles successfully and no casualty was caused the larger question after this incident was why India su-30mki did not engage Pakistani f-16s part of the argument was Pakistani f-16 were at the optimum heights whereas Indian MK II's verjus ascending another problem which was reported was R-77 missiles of su-30mki the range of R-77 is lesser than Amram and therefore pakistani f-16 were out of range this was a wake-up call for Indian Air Force and soon after this there were couple of deals which was signed with Russia and emphasis on Indian Astra air-to-air missile was observed there's no doubt that Amram is much more advanced then in R-77 missiles furthermore the R-77 of Indian inventory was a baseline version the advanced version of R-77 which is called R-77 one has a range of 110 kilometers whereas the baseline version has a range of 80  to 100 kilometers only in coming days Astra air-to-air missile developed indigenously will provide much-needed breather to Indian Air Force and then the real game-changer will be meteor missile which is coming along with raffels ostrich the first air-to-air missile developed by DRDO and is silently killing all the critics with every passing test India has also started working on -  Astra- 2 which will be based on solid fuel ducted ramjet and the ground testing for disturbed er has already started the range of Astra missile is 80 kilometres when the collision is head-on that is the target aircraft is right in front of the fighter jet therefore the target aircraft is not going away from the fighter jet in fact it is coming further close on the other hand when it comes to chase mode that is the target aircraft is running away from the fighter jet and the fighter jet has to engage it by following it in such a scenario the engagement ranges 20 kilometers the propellant used in Astra add to our missile is a smokeless propellant therefore it does not leave a trail which makes it very difficult to visually identify from where exactly the missile is coming from the length of Astra air-to-air missile is three point five seven meters when you compare the same with our R-77 this is smaller in length R-77 has a length of 3.6 meters and R-77 won this three point seven meters when you look at the diameter of a Astra missile it is 178 millimeters whereas the diameter of R-77 is 200 millimeters so theoretically Astra air-to-air missile is much more compact than an hour R-77 missile if you look at the weight of Astra air-to-air missile it is 154 kgs whereas the weight of our R-77 is 175 kg on the other hand R-77 one is 190 kg therefore Astra air to air missile is much lighter than our R-77 the water used in Astra air to air missile is pre fragmented heavy explosive warhead and it is 15 kgs in weight whereas R-77 has 22 point 5 kg warhead and that is also a fragmenting warhead the edgeware missiles are largely classified based on the range the Antwoord missiles for the range of 30 kilometers and more are called beyond visual range missiles the one with the lesser range are called within visual range missiles the beyond visual range missiles are further classified as mid-range and long-range bbr R-77 is a mid-range Bevere whereas Amram is a long-range vvr these missiles are also classified based on their seekers usually the small range missiles are based on infrared seekers the heat coming from the engines of the fighter jets are sensed by these infrared seekers and based on that the guidance is provided the radar homing missiles carry their own radar that actively homes on the target aircraft and then it engages ed passive seekers are also available and some missiles are being worked upon to have double seekers the dual mode one's sin thing the heat from long distance is very difficult that is why it is important to first guide the missile toward the target aircraft and then its seeker starts working when it is close enough to operate this initial guidance is usually provided by the inertial guidance systems inertial guidance system works similar to olden days gyro base inertial guidance systems this inertial guidance systems are based on laser and fiber-optic cables there were quite similar to the gyros once the my site is close enough to the target the guidance switches from inertial guidance to the active radar homing and the target is engaged the preliminary study on Astra air-to-air missile system started way back in 1990s after the pre feasibility studies the Astra was first revealed in 1998 during Aero India it was described initially as variant of mattress super 530d in year 2004 the project was officially sanctioned and 955 crore were allocated to this project this missile was developed for the tages program and the initial unit had a weight of 300 kgs with a range of 25 to 40 kilometers only in year 2006 due to the control issues and the performance at the higher altitude the missile was redesigned the redesigned missile was further tested and then had multiple failures after which it was again redesigned and tested the redesigned missile had a longer range better seeker better avionics and design and therefore today this missile is writing history recently this missile completed all its tests and now it is getting inducted in the services in an Air Force has already ordered 50 of these and UAE is also interested in this missile this missile will be a real for Indian Air Force and then the days to come Astra to will start flowing in with a solid fuel ducted ramjet technology already been tested and getting matured with every passing day Astra too has a brighter future as well complemented with meteor air-to-air missile this Kongo will get deadlier with every passing day
